In honor of School Board Recognition Month, Collins-Rhodes Elementary School proudly extends our sincere appreciation to Dr. Reginald Crenshaw for his dedicated service and leadership as a member of our school board.
Dr. Crenshaw’s commitment to education, students, staff, and the greater school community makes a lasting impact on our school each day. His support and advocacy help ensure that our students have the opportunities, resources, and encouragement they need to succeed.

Cold Weather Clothing Reminder
Due to cold winter temperatures, students will be allowed to layer warm clothing over or under their school uniforms on the following days:
Monday, January 26
Tuesday, January 27
Students must wear their required school uniforms. Warm layers may be added to help keep students comfortable throughout the school day.
Approved Warm Layers
Students may wear:
Sweatshirts
Sweatpants
Warm socks
Winter hats
Gloves
Scarves
Jeans (no rips or holes)
Important Reminders
Please dress students in layers to stay warm.
Pajamas are not permitted.

Bishop Maurice Williams and First Lady Teacher Crystal Williams, your kindness brings joy, hope, and excitement to the children who will receive these wonderful gifts.
Because of your support, some of our children will experience the magic of Christmas morning in a special way — with the thrill of new bikes, new adventures, and the feeling of being cared for by their community.

Fathers, grandfathers, uncles, big brothers, and other father figures filled our campus with warmth, smiles, and encouragement as they shared breakfast pastries and meaningful moments with their children.

Get ready to run, laugh, and gobble your way to fun! Our Turkey Trot Fun Run is happening tomorrow, Friday, November 14 at Collins-Rhodes Elementary!
Students can join in the festive fun for just $1.00. It’s a great way to celebrate the season, get active, and show that school spirit before Thanksgiving break!
Don’t forget your running shoes and your best turkey trot energy! 🏅💛

Parents and families, don’t forget — Math Night is coming up on Monday, October 27, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM! Join us for an evening of fun, hands-on math activities and games designed to make learning exciting for the whole family. We can’t wait to see you there!

Grab your capes, masks, and super smarts for our Superhero Halloween Math Night at Collins-Rhodes Elementary!
This is no ordinary evening—it’s a night of math-powered missions, costumed fun, and spooky-smart adventures for the whole family!
Superhero Costumes are encouraged (but not required) – just be sure they’re school-appropriate and allow for safe movement during activities.
We’ll see you there, heroes!

We are excited to invite you to our Parenting Day celebration at Collins-Rhodes Elementary on Monday, October 20, 2025! This special event is a wonderful opportunity for you to engage with your child’s school experience, connect with teachers and staff, and see firsthand the amazing things happening in our classrooms.

The Mobile County Board of School Commissioners will hold public hearings on the proposed Fiscal Year 2026 budget and the salary schedule on the following dates:
